Flightseeing tours offer a unique way to view spectacular mountain ranges, glacier lakes, and gorgeous plateaus and canyons all from the air. Most companies range their tours from 30 minutes to 4 hours. During this time, the pilot will take you over unimaginably beautiful wilderness and terrain that you may not see otherwise. Not only does flightseeing offer a different perspective, but it also offers an efficient way to reach remote backcountry lodges and other isolated areas where further adventure awaits.

There are a number of operators and lodges throughout this vast region that offer this service.
In the Cariboo region experience the snow capped peaks of the Cariboo Mountains, Wells Gray Park, Helmken Falls, the Flour Mills Volcano and the many rolling, forested hills and abundant lakes of the Fraser River Plateau. In the Chilcotin, Nimpo Lake is known as the “Floatplane Capital of British Columbia”. Many flightseeing and backcountry fishing and hiking trips leave from the lake. On the Coast there are a number of beautiful and dynamic flights based out of Bella Coola. Popular destinations for flightseeing tours in the Chilcotin and Coast regions include the multi-coloured Rainbow Mountains of Tweedsmuir Provincial Park, Hunlen Falls and the Coastal Mountain Range including the Homathko and Monarch ice fields.
