The Cariboo Chilcotin Coast includes 15,000 km (9315 mi) of coastline, 8,000 lakes and 17,000 km (11,000 mi) of rivers and streams. The climate features warm, dry summers (an average of between 21 and 28 degrees Celsius). Beautiful (cool) fresh fall air and crisp, cool winters.

The Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association is a Destination Marketing Organization that works in conjunction with Tourism BC and the tourism industry in the Cariboo, Chilcotin and Central Coast area to help foster the growth of the tourism industry in the region. Products and services include, access to an extensive image bank, travel guide and DVD, Fam tour assistance, Itinerary planning assistance, property inspection/recommendations, expert regional knowledge. Some of our most popular products include, Barkerville Historic Town, one of Canada’s premier historic sights. 125 original and restored buildings from the gold rush of 1864. The Great Bear Rainforest, home of the Kermode Bear, 1,000 year old cedar trees and nearby is the intriguing First Nations community of Klemtu. Bowron Lakes Canoe circuit is one of the top 10 paddling destinations in the world. Glaciers, waterfalls, wildlife, fishing, whitewater adventures, horseback trips, all await you.
