2009 Annual General Meeting

April 9. 2009, 9.00 - 11.30am

Williams Lake - Overlander Convention Center

The CCCTA is your regional association representing the tourism industry and striving for growth and prosperity for its stakeholders. The association was formed 47 years ago by visionaries who believed the benefits of strength through cooperation, unity and the concept of ‘speaking with one voice’. That belief fuels the association’s Vision today – The Cariboo Chilcotin Coast will be a four season, Canadian icon destination, known for breathtaking scenery and memorable experiences. The activities of the association center primarily on marketing and promotion due to its contract with Tourism British Columbia (forged over 20 years ago!) and status as one of the province’s six tourism regions. Current operational activities include cooperative advertising, travel trade, travel media and web campaigns, although due to the unique challenges of this region much time is spent engaged in industry development activities.
