At the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism Association we believe that without stories humans have nothing; no community, no culture, nothing.

The Cariboo, Chilcotin, and Central Coast areas of British Columbia Canada, create a uniquely diverse region that amazes residents and travellers alike. From semi-arid desert and volcanic cones to rare grasslands and glaciers, the biodiversity of the region rivals on an international scale. Home to the world’s only temperate inland rainforest. Home to British Columbia's “Chilcotin Ark” - a planetary refuge. Home to the Great Bear Rainforest and rare Kermode, or Spirit Bear. And most of all – home to amazing characters, quirky communities, their residents and unrivalled cultural traditions, our region offers an abundance of stories and activities for all journalist and media outlet types.
